Stardust is just awesome! This is a movie that I can’t really explain its plot in just few words. This is the best magical thriller I’ve seen in these 2 years and Narnia stands no where in between.

It’s romance fits in our culture as well, and I can officially categorize it as a romantic magical thriller.

I would not elaborate on the story because it is meant for audience to find out themselves. All I can reveal is: This movie is about a star and a chaotic chase for it!

Take That is also involved in this movie as well. Their first contribution to a movie is actually this song called “Rule the World“, which only plays at the end of the movie.

Even if you have not watched Stardust, you really ought to give this song a try. Songs from Take That will not disappoint you after all.

It’s an unusual busy year end for me and I did not expect it. I had been very slow in other things because I have to concentrate more on my work. As for my free time, I listen to many songs just to find out what are the nice songs that I have to know, but yet to know.

This song that I’m going to post, should be considered as a new song, but too popular until it seems not so new to lots of people anymore.

I’ve already caught hold of Jay’s latest album, the Capricorn (魔杰座) when I was in Shanghai. There are several nice songs in it that I wanted to transcribe into piano sheet. The problem is: which song to start first?

Now this is another request from one of my readers.

I suddenly had a feeling that my readers have good tastes in song selection. In the end I got all the best song recommendations from them.

Before Mei suggested me to transcribe Two Songs by Lea Salonga, I didn’t even know who is Lea Salonga…what a shame! The worst is, I didn’t even know that she was the one who sang “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, “Colours of the Wind” from Pocahontas and “Reflection” from Mulan!

One thing good about running AhDoe.com, I really learn a lot from my readers. 🙂

Lea Salonga is from Phillipines. She speaks really good English and sings really well that she made her way through the broadway theatre!

OMG!!! This is my first post entry with Korean Characters in it, what a breakthrough!!! I am so proud of myself. 🙂

Damn, you guys know how hard is it to find the Korean Characters that correlates to the lyrics of the song? The Korean characters are like Hieroglyph to me and I have completely no idea on how to understand them, pronounce them and not even typing them out.

This is the second song from Pure 19 drama, and this 100-episodes drama is so long that I really can’t afford to invest my time in it. By the way, the first piano sheet that I posted from this drama was called “Love Song” (사랑가)

After 3 months, this drama is still accumulating loyal supporters! (The number of requests can tell)

It seems that the first piano sheet that I’ve transcribed earlier was able to quench the thirst of some Pure 19 drama lovers, so now I’m going to come up with more piano sheets from this drama.

Apparently, I missed out the real theme song: Sarang Eh Ji Chyut Da (사랑에 지쳤다)

Have you watched Painted Skin (画皮) lately? If not, I’ll recommend this movie to you. I have been thinking of some of the scenes after watching this movie. I have to agree that this movie did manage to send out some messages successfully. It’s not only a horror movie, but rather a sad + romantic movie overall.

Those who starred in Painted Skin form a strong cast that will not only attract audiences, but would guarantee its quality up to certain level.

Zhou Xun (周迅) + Chen Kun (陈坤) + Zhao Wei (赵薇) + Donnie Yen (甄子丹) + Sun Li (孙俪) + Qi Yu Wu (戚玉武) + Gordon Chan (陈嘉上) the director = Good Box Office!!

Just for your information, Painted Skin is adapted from the classical Chinese Horror Novel (聊斋志异). From what most Chinese people who know about this novel, there are always some erotic details in it. Therefore…

Same thing in Painted Skin movie…(maybe this is one of the reasons why many people dwelled into the cinema for this show)

The songs from this movie are composed by Fujiwara Ikuro (藤原育郎), including this song that I will post today: Painted Heart (画心)

You might find this interesting, this song resembles “心语星愿” from Cecelia Cheung years ago. Both songs are nice in my opinion, similar but tend to differ at their chorus. Jane Zhang (张靓颖) sang it emotionally and proved that she was the best person for this song.
