Idiot Piano Sheet (from Princess Hour Korean Drama)

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Tadah~~ Ah Doe is finally back in action again!

Several weeks before a major change in my life, I was actually addicted to a Korean Drama called Princess Hour (宫,我的野蛮王妃). I was considered to be in a “lovestruck” stage even after finishing this drama. That was then I started to google about the leading actors and actresses (Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye).

The storyline was a breakthrough (at least I thought so) compared to the old-fashioned “Love me, love me not” script. Its costume is also another thing that we can pay attention to.

“Princess Hour” fully utilizes Korean traditional musical instruments in their OST composition this time in order to depict the life and atmosphere of a royal family. However, my interest is in its sentimental song, which is played when the leading actress feels sad.

Weeping terribly in a guy’s arm…handsome one somemore….oh~

It’s called: I AM AN IDIOT!

(Sounds as if I am telling you that I am an idiot~)

Let’s have a look at Idiot’s piano sheet preview:

Now, we have a GOOD news and a BAD news:

Good news comes first: This song is in its original key!! (Hip hip hooray~~)

Bad news (*Drums rolling*) : It is in B Flat Major, and transposes to B Major!! That means, you will play the song with two black notes at the beginning, and five black notes before its ending!!

Well, maybe it’s not so bad, but still….

Good Luck and Have Fun!!

An exhausted Ah Doe

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

Just a brief update from myself…

When you are in the midst of transition, many things come in and you just have to accept, adapt and go on…

Predicting these all to happen few months back, I have already worked on a plan to produce more music sheets whenever I can and watch more movies and dramas to get myself inspired for new songs (That’s just an excuse, hehe…)

Today, I am really really exhausted to cope with the change, but still feel very happy because I’ll give myself a break after this.

Don’t worry, I still have some piano sheets in hands, but probably still need to fine tune a bit before I post them here.

Thanks for the support and patience~

Why Ah Doe’s Piano Sheets are in PDF Format?

Friday, November 16th, 2007

If you have been reading AhDoe.com, you’d find that I have created all the piano sheets in PDF format.

Instead of midi files, overture files, Finale files, scorch files and all other files that musical notation software are able to open, I chose PDF. Of course there are reasons behind this:

  1. PDF is common among computer users. It is almost on par with Microsoft Document.
  2. Users don’t have to install other software to read the digital piano sheets.
  3. The sheet music alignment has been preset and fixed, you print what you see. As simple as that!
  4. File size is small, easy to pass around if you want.
  5. Readable foreign characters such as Chinese and Japanese for users.
  6. Piano Sheets are “zoom-able” with PDF
  7. Original and hard to modify.

Only regret is that you can’t listen to a PDF file. This is why I am considering to include the audio file together with the piano sheets in future. This will be helpful to those who are rather weak in sight-reading.

Yes, that is still in progress, and hopefully Ah Doe will bring you good news soon!

I Super Love Super Mario!

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

This Mario that I super love, is “inhuman“!

To be precise, he is not even human!!

But…

I still super Love him….

 Super Mario set in Batam

Shall I introduce which one is Mario?

Mario is Italian, and he only eats itsy bitsy teenie weenie Red/Green dot mushrooms. I think he will also eat charcoal mushrooms if we serve him.

Although you know that he had so many enemies than friends, you still feel safe to be with him. Any kind of monsters, cute but evil creatures won’t scare you…

Too bad, this guy is married with babies who looked really like their Papa.

Super Mario’s Baby

Mario’s Babies.

If you love Mario as I do, you’d love Super Mario’s Theme songs as well.

How I miss my memorable childhood…

Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

Suddenly I see” is one of my favourite songs recently, and I’m having fun with the piano arrangement. Wee~

.
KT Tunstall’s Suddenly I See Album Cover

Sang by KT Tunstall, a Scottish singer who looks young but sounds mature in this album which was released in 2005.

Oh gosh, how come I’m always late at nice things?

By the way, this song has been playing at the radio stations, boutique shops, movie series or some other places that I could not even remember. The chorus part is catchy with “So there I see….” and sounds so stylish. I guessed without KT Tunstall, it won’t be legendary.

This song is in D Major, so is the piano arrangement. 2 black notes will not be fatal I guess. So, let’s enjoy playing it and be rhythmic!
