Paradise by T Max

Monday, August 31st, 2009

The opening theme from the Korean drama: Boys over Flower or known as BOF. I remembered clearly that this song was also played when F4 and Kim Jan Di were playing hide and seek in Venetian Macau.

BOF in Macau

This song is also one of the most wanted songs from everyone and therefore I just added in the BOF for sale list.

The Climb – Miley Cyrus from Hannah Montana

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

This piano sheet is for my niece, Elysia.

The Climb from Miley Cyrus.

The_Climb_(Miley_Cyrus_song)

I have heard of Miley Cyrus, I have heard of Hannah Montana. But sorry dear, I never watched the series or the film so I can’t tell you officially that I know who this wonder girl is.

So is this song.

Actually when I browsed through my database, I found that this song has been put into some readers’ wish list some time ago. So lucky to say that, my niece is not the only one who wants this piano sheet.

I found that the song serves a great motivation purpose in its lyrics. It tells you not to give up no matter how hard you find the challenge is. Very clear-cut, very straightforward.

Sometimes I think I am a freak. The first thing that came across my mind when I was keying in the lyrics into the piano sheet is: I think the guys in MLM may need it.

Those first timers who visit my site, you have to get used to me. Sometimes I do have some funny thoughts that made me a little extraordinary.

About this piano sheet:

1) It’s in original key, E Major
2) Lyrics and chords included
3) No repeat signs. Just play from Page 1 till the end.
4) Designed the piano sheet at its simplest but faithful to the original at the same time.

I hope you can sing while playing, if you can. 🙂

Spending Singapore National Day with SpongeBob SquarePants

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

I have a new friend, his name is SpongeBob SquarePants!

Spongebob Squarepants Family

Oooo…how cute~

This year’s national day, I am afraid that I have to stay at home partly due to the notorious H1N1 virus. But still, it doesn’t mean that I am not celebrating the national day with the rest of the fellow Singaporeans. Firstly, today is a holiday (although we will have another replacement holiday tomorrow); secondly, a national day is still a day worth remembering for gaining its independence.

One thing special on this year’s national day: I am spending it with SpongeBob! 🙂

When I found myself so addicted to this fictional animated comedy, it’s already no doubt that I am an adult with a kid’s heart. I laughed so hysterically in every episodes and kept revising that every funny scenes. Oh, I am so helplessly in love with Spongebob!

To remember this special day that I watched the SpongeBob series, I made this piano sheet:

This extremely short piano sheet is in its original key, i.e. G Major. Lyrics and chords are included.

Ermm…sorry guys, but you’d have to imitate the start phrase (in French accent) by yourself before entering the melody. Just like how the cartoon begins:

Pirate in Spongebob Squarepants

Captain: Are you ready kids?
Kids: Aye Aye Captain.
Captain: I can’t hear you.
Kids: Aye Aye Captain
Captain: OHHHHHHH

Without any delay, play this piano sheet below and sing your SpongeBob SquarePants theme.

Don’t Cry for Him Anymore (别再为他流泪) from My Queen (败犬女王)

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Ah Doe is extremely busy and stressed recently. So stressed that she’d realized that she hasn’t watched any dramas lately when she feels that her life is getting more and more suffocating.

And this is it! The start of watching this Taiwanese Drama called My Queen (败犬女王) and ended in just 48 hours!

My Queen Poster

(Ah Doe cheers for herself for breaking her record!) 🙂

My queen features the love life of a woman in her early 30s (Cheryl Yang/ 杨谨华) with a successful career but remained unattached for 6 years until she met a handsome guy (Ethan Ruan/ 阮经天) who is 8 years younger than her.

The plot is simple but realistic. The success of this drama really count on both the leading actor and actress because of their convincing performance.

The soundtracks are mostly from Fish Leong’s latest album (静茹&情歌-别再为他流泪). You may have heard this song before this drama was aired.

Featuring my favorite soundtrack from this drama: Don’t cry for him anymore (别再为它流泪).

*Ahem* There’s one confession I have to make: The piano sheet is based on the piano instrumental version used in the drama instead of the one sang by Fish Leong. As this piano sheet is purely instrumental, I did not put any lyrics in it. However, chords are still included.

Note that this piano sheet is in original key, A Major.

It’s not difficult. All you need is a piano with pedal , a pair of hands and an expressive thought. Really.

And with these criteria above, you could still play this beautifully.

Planetarium (プラネタリウム-) from Japanese Boys over Flowers

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

Just to clarify, I am not crazy about Boys over Flowers. I posted this piano sheet because I really like this song.

After all the explanations, I am not surprised at all if you still think that I am addicted to this drama.

Japanese Boys over Flowers Poster

I came across this song when I was trying to search for songs from the Korean version of the same drama. This song, Planetarium (星象仪 in Chinese) which is performed by J Pop diva Ai Otsuka (大塚 æ„›), is the theme from the first season of Japanese Version’s Boys over Flowers (Translated as Hana Yori Dango in Japanese).

For piano lovers, the overture is catchy enough to hook you on till the end of the song. Like its name, I started to imagine that I am gazing stars in an open field when I close my eyes listening to it.

Look at its album cover:

Yes, something similar to this…

Too bad, the drama itself is not as exciting as the Taiwanese or the Korean version. I guess it could be related to the budget to film this drama.

Never mind that, luckily this song is still well suited to this drama.
