Playing “Jai Ho” on your piano
“Jai Ho” is so popular now that if you haven’t heard it before, you are seriously outdated.
There is this must-learn Jai Ho dance as well.
It’s so popular that even Pussycat Dolls can’t resist its charm.
Ah Doe also can’t wait to join them too.
Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire) Piano Sheet Preview
The guy who keep singing “Jai Ho” in the background is A.R Rahman, who is a well-known producer in India. Without his voice, “Jai Ho” is no longer the Jai Ho we always listen to.
My Indian colleague told me that Jai Ho actually means “Victory” in Indian. With the election going on in India, some candidates paid for the copyright and played this song in their campaign. Wow!
I’ve designed this piano sheet with heavy bass at the left hand just to emphasize on the Indian rhythmic percussions. Other than its speed and beat counting, this piano sheet poses no significant difficulty.
Some information about this piano sheet:
1) It’s in B Major
2) Lyrics included, in English of course, excluding some Indian phrases like “Jai Ho” and “Bai La Bai La”
3) Chords included
4) Sample piano sheet demo available, please click the play button below to listen.
Have fun!
